This document outlines the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for individuals volunteering with the Debsulata Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By becoming a volunteer, you agree to comply with these rules and support the Foundation’s mission.
1. General Expectations
1.1. Volunteers must uphold the Foundation’s mission, vision, and values while representing us.
1.2. Volunteers are expected to act with integrity, respect, and professionalism at all times.
1.3. Volunteers should complete assigned tasks responsibly and in a timely manner.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Volunteers must be at least [insert minimum age, e.g., 18 years old], unless parental or guardian consent is provided.
2.2. All volunteers may be subject to background checks as part of the application process.
2.3. Volunteers must disclose any medical conditions or limitations that may affect their ability to perform certain tasks safely.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1. Volunteers must treat all individuals, including beneficiaries, staff, and other volunteers, with dignity and respect.
3.2. Discrimination, harassment, or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
3.3. Volunteers must not engage in any activities that could harm the reputation or operations of the Foundation.
3.4. Confidentiality must be maintained regarding sensitive information related to the Foundation or its beneficiaries.
4. Attendance and Punctuality
4.1. Volunteers must adhere to the schedules agreed upon and inform their supervisor promptly in case of absence or tardiness.
4.2. Repeated absenteeism or lack of commitment may result in dismissal from the volunteer program.
5. Safety and Compliance
5.1. Volunteers are expected to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the Foundation.
5.2. Any injuries, accidents, or safety concerns must be reported immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
5.3. Volunteers must adhere to applicable laws and Foundation policies during all activities.
6. Use of Foundation Resources
6.1. Resources provided by the Foundation, such as tools, materials, or facilities, must be used responsibly and for authorized purposes only.
6.2. Volunteers must not misappropriate Foundation assets for personal use.
7. Media and Representation
7.1. Volunteers may not speak to the media or make public statements on behalf of the Foundation without prior authorization.
7.2. All media content (e.g., photos, videos) captured during volunteering activities may only be shared with explicit permission from the Foundation.
8. Termination of Volunteer Involvement
8.1. The Foundation reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s involvement at any time for violations of these rules or other misconduct.
8.2. Volunteers may choose to resign at any time but are encouraged to provide notice to ensure a smooth transition.
9. Acknowledgment
By signing this document or participating in volunteer activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these rules and guidelines.
